Calculator InstructionsReturn to Periodic TableInstructionsUsing standard chemical notation (e.g. Al2/Al2(SO4)3*125), enter a stoichiometric calculation into the text entry area of the JavaScript calculator at the top of the page. After typing the calculation entry, click the "calculate" link to execute the calculation. The chemical calculator will calculate the answer and print it in the entry text area. Use square brackets to force arithmetic operations (e.g. [[2+2]/3]). Normal parentheses are reserved for standard chemical formula notation. There is no fancy error catching. Illegal entries will simply produce an JavaScript "Entry Error" whine in the calculator display text area! Just re-enter the calculation and try again.
