The following balanced chemical equation represents the chemical reaction that takes place during the synthesis of ethyl chloride (C2H5Cl) from ethane (C2H6)  and chlorine (Cl2):

C2H6 + Cl2 ---> HCl + C2H5Cl

If the reaction of 68.7 grams of ethane with an excess of the other reactant results in the isolation of 107 grams of ethyl chloride, what is the percent yield of the reaction based on ethane consumed?
